Privacy
Short version: we don't collect anything about you. Your plan lives in your own browser. To work out travel times, the places you enter are sent to a few public map services.

What we collect
Nothing on our own servers. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising on this site.
What your browser keeps
- Your plan (places, trips and settings) is saved in your browser's local storage so it's there next time. Press “Start over” in the planner, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove it.
- A copy of the site's files is kept by the browser so the app opens without a connection. It holds no personal data.
Services your browser talks to
To draw the map and work out times, your browser contacts these services directly. Like any website, they can see your IP address and browser type.
- OpenStreetMap tile servers send the map images for the area you're looking at. OSMF privacy policy.
- Photon (komoot) receives what you type in a place box and the rough centre of your map view, and returns matching places. It also turns map points into addresses.
- OSRM routing servers (run by FOSSGIS e.V., with the OSRM project's server as a backup) receive the coordinates of your places and of the spots being compared, and return travel times.
None of these services receive your name, email or anything else about you from us. The airport list used for flight estimates is a file on this site, so loading it sends nothing anywhere else.
Your location
The app asks for your device's location only if you press “Use my current location”. It's used in your browser to fill in “Current location” and is then handled like any place you type.
Share links and files
“Share this plan” puts your places into the link itself, after the # sign. That part of a link is never sent to our server, but anyone you give the link to can see the places in it. Saved plan files and PDF reports stay on your device until you send them to someone.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and the page requested) to run and protect the service. We don't use these logs to track anyone.
Children
The site is a general-purpose tool and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
